About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At nightfall, an old dog began appearing in the Walmart parking lot, sniffing around the loading docks. Employees noticed him first, but it wasn’t until a little boy pointed excitedly that everyone stopped and watched. The dog seemed to be searching for something specific. Finally, someone suggested calling the animal control officer. As they approached, the dog turned around and barked once—then ran towards the nearby neighborhood, tail wagging. It was just an ordinary pet on a late-night adventure, much to everyone’s relief.
2. At closing time one day, a cashier noticed something strange: ‘Did you see that?’ she said to her colleague. ‘What?’ he replied. ‘The shelves are rearranging themselves!’ Suddenly, a delivery driver walked in and asked for help finding some eggs. Everyone burst out laughing when he pointed them right to the dairy section—without even looking! It turned out the shelves had settled into place just as they should.
3. In the Walmart checkout line, a regular asked the cashier: ‘Why do people always leave their shopping carts here?’ The cashier smiled and replied, ‘Oh, they’re not leaving them behind—Walmart just hasn’t hired enough cart collectors yet.’ A delivery driver overheard and nodded knowingly, adding, ‘And when they finally hire some, they’ll be too busy playing video games on their phones!’ The regular laughed heartily, shaking his head.
4. At midnight, a voice crackled over the Walmart PA system: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, your friendly neighborhood squirrel is on duty tonight!’ Soon, customers started gathering around, laughing and taking photos. The little squirrel even found some nuts in the produce section and pretended to shop for them too! A delivery driver remarked, 'Well, I guess anything can be a Walmart greeter if you try hard enough.' And from that night on, whenever anyone asked where the manager was, everyone knew to look up high.
