1. One morning, an early riser was stocking shelves when he noticed something odd in the dairy section. Every few minutes, a gallon of milk would inexplicably rearrange itself into a perfect pyramid. Curious, our stocker watched from behind a shelf until one gallon defiantly pointed its handle up like a little soldier. Just then, a delivery driver walked by and asked, ‘What’s with all the pyramids today?’ The stocker shrugged, and soon they were both laughing so hard that they missed their break. Later, everyone agreed it must’ve been a mischievous ghost named ‘Milkus’ who liked orderly piles.
2. In the dairy aisle one afternoon, a little girl pointed excitedly and whispered, ‘Mommy, look! The milk bottles are dancing!’ The mother smiled, bending down to gently explain that it was just an optical illusion caused by the reflection of light on the bottles. As she spoke, another customer—a delivery driver—glanced over curiously and remarked, 'Maybe they’re just doing their own version of modern art!' Everyone chuckled, and soon enough, everyone forgot about the dancing milk as they continued shopping for groceries.
3. In the produce section late one night, a delivery driver heard a soft giggle behind him. When he turned around, there was nothing but empty shelves. Curious, he walked back and forth several times, but never saw anyone again. The next morning, when his colleague asked why he looked so spooked, he joked, ‘I think I scared off our newest ghost employee!’
4. Late one night, as a cashier rang up groceries, she heard a whisper from behind the deli counter: 'Ma’am, can you please put some bananas on top of those eggs?' Curious, she turned around and saw no one. Just an empty aisle and the soft glow of the refrigerated case. ‘Bananas on eggs,’ she muttered, shaking her head with a smile. The next day, an elderly gentleman approached her with a smile, saying, “I hope you didn’t mind my little prank last night? I just love watching people’s reactions.”
