1. A delivery driver once asked, ‘Why does Kev always buy houses here?’ No one knew for sure, but soon after, whenever someone sold their place, it seemed like Kev would show up with a big smile and an offer. Soon enough, rumors spread that Kev had a secret stash of cash hidden somewhere. One day, while delivering packages late at night, a delivery driver spotted Kev standing in front of a freshly painted house, whispering into his phone. The driver couldn’t help but laugh: ‘Hey, mate, you’re buying houses so fast they must be building you a whole new neighborhood!’
2. A little boy pointed at the sign and whispered to his mom, ‘Mom, why does that realtor only buy houses with big front yards?’ She smiled and replied, ‘Honey, he just likes having somewhere nice for his dogs.’ Just then, an old man walked by and overheard their conversation. He chuckled and said, 'Actually, Kev buys houses because he has a thing for gardening and loves to plant flowers in every yard he buys.' The boy looked puzzled, but his mom winked and whispered, 'Now you know one of Kev’s little secrets!'
3. At dawn, when most people were still dreaming of their morning coffee, a delivery driver pulled up outside Kev’s office. He scratched his head as he looked around, muttering, 'I’ve delivered here hundreds of times, but today it feels different.' The delivery driver peered through the window and saw Kev dancing wildly to some unknown tune on his stereo. ‘What the…?’ he whispered, then noticed an empty bottle of whiskey sitting next to a pile of signed contracts. With a shake of his head, he left the package and drove off, muttering that maybe Kev had just bought more than houses today.’
4. At dusk, a curious dog sniffed the sign outside Kev’s office, tilting its head as if trying to understand why someone would buy so many houses. Inside, an old delivery driver asked Kev for directions, only to get lost in his own office full of model homes. A neighbor passing by wondered aloud, ‘Does he even live here anymore?’ And just then, a cat jumped onto Kev’s desk, surveying the real estate with a knowing look before walking away, clearly thinking, “Next time I’ll go with someone else who buys fewer houses.”
