1. It was just another night at the gas station when a delivery driver grumbled, ‘Why does it always rain on Sundays?’ And then he noticed—a neon sign above him seemed to blink in reply, reading ‘Never Never Never.’ The delivery driver laughed it off, thinking maybe he’d had too much coffee. Then his phone buzzed with an order from the same neighborhood he’d just passed. He shook his head and muttered, ‘Coincidence? I think not.’ As he filled up the tank, the neon sign winked again—this time, it read ‘Always.’
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the pump one evening, frowning as he checked his watch. Suddenly, an old man in a plaid shirt emerged from behind the convenience store and started waving frantically. ‘What’s wrong?’ asked the puzzled driver. The old man pointed towards the gas gauge, shaking his head. ‘It says “Full”, but my car won’t start!’ They both laughed, and soon enough, a passing mechanic happened by to help. Turned out it was just a loose connector. As they parted ways, the old man said, “Thanks for saving my day!” The delivery driver smiled, thinking, “Next time I’ll believe the gauge.”
3. A regular stopped by one morning and asked the clerk, ‘Do you ever wonder why there’s always a stray cat hanging around?’ The clerk shrugged. ‘Who knows? Maybe it likes our coffee.’ Just then, a delivery driver walked in with a box of kibble under his arm. ‘Hey,’ he said, ‘I brought some food for our furry friend.’ The regular laughed, shaking his head. ‘You guys are something else,’ he muttered as he left, already planning his next visit.
4. A little boy dragged his mom into the store late one night, pointing excitedly at the glowing sign above. ‘Mom,’ he whispered, staring wide-eyed at the row of brightly colored snacks, ‘why does it say “open” even though it’s midnight?’ The mother smiled and leaned down, whispering back, "Because honey, this is a magical place where they never close!" Just then, an older gentleman walked in, nodding knowingly as he filled up his truck. 'Yep,' he said with a twinkle in his eye, 'and that's why I always stop here for coffee on my way home.' The little boy nodded solemly, already planning his next visit.
