Curious, Richard leaned closer to see what had spooked the dog. To his surprise, under the floorboard was an old, dusty photo of a smiling couple holding a baby—clearly not related to the current owners. Turns out, the dog could sense ghosts better than anyone!
2. One day, while showing a new listing, Richard pointed out an unusual pattern on the ceiling. The little girl in the group stopped and asked, 'Mr. McKinney, is that paint or ghost fingerprints?' Richard smiled and leaned closer, inspecting it himself. ‘Just some old plasterwork,’ he said, but the little girl wasn’t convinced. She turned to her mom and whispered, “Mom, can we buy this house just so Mr. McKinney can see more ghost fingerprints?” They all laughed, and Richard thought to himself, “Maybe there ARE ghosts here—of goodwill and happy memories.”

Turning around with a smile, he greeted the person outside as just another local resident curious about the house. Only later did it dawn on him that the ‘neighbor’ was actually an out-of-town delivery driver who had mistakenly driven up to the wrong street.
