1. Late one night, an East End delivery driver pulled up outside the veterinary centre with a crate of emergency supplies. As he opened the door, he heard a strange whimpering sound coming from inside the building. Curious, he peered around the corner and saw a small tabby cat peeking out from behind a desk, its little paws clutching a half-eaten sandwich. ‘Looks like someone had a late-night snack,’ muttered the driver, smiling. The cat yawned and stretched, then sauntered off into the night, leaving behind only purrs and crumbs.
