About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most dentists were still asleep, a delivery driver pulled up to 7th and Bell Dental Group with an unusual package. The receptionist noticed something odd about its label. Upon opening it, she found a small box containing a single toothpick labeled ‘World’s Best Dentist.’ Startled, she looked around but saw only her reflection in the mirror. Turns out, someone had mistakenly delivered a care package from a neighboring office. As the day went on, everyone joked that maybe the toothpick was actually working wonders—until they realized it was just time for lunch break.
2. One morning, while a regular patient was waiting for their cleaning appointment, they noticed something peculiar on the office wall calendar. The dates seemed to shift and change without anyone touching them. Curious, our regular patient decided to ask the receptionist, who calmly explained that it was just an experimental time-traveling calendar from the dentist’s son, an aspiring inventor. Everyone in the office had grown used to it except new patients, who often arrived late or early due to its quirks.
3. At lunchtime, when the reception area was empty, an old poster on the wall started winking at patients. Curious, one patient asked why it did so. The old poster replied, ‘I’ve been here longer than you can imagine!’ Turned out it was an antique dental advertisement from the 1950s with a built-in blinking mechanism. After that, everyone visiting the practice had fun guessing who or what the poster might be.’
4. At closing time, when the last patient had left, a curious neighbor walked into the dental office. They peered inside the empty reception area and asked aloud, ‘Do you think those chairs ever talk in our absence?’ Just then, one of the old leather recliners shifted slightly, as if it were nodding. The neighbor jumped back with a startled laugh. ‘Oh, come on,’ they muttered, but couldn’t help glancing over their shoulder. Turning around, they found nothing but quiet, empty rooms—and an unexpected smile forming on their face.
