1. 2. At the Exxon gas station, every morning around sunrise, a delivery driver would notice something peculiar. A small dog, no bigger than a toy, would appear out of nowhere and run straight for the pump, sniffing intently at the hose. No matter how many times he tried to shoo it away, the little creature always returned the next day, as if drawn by some invisible magnet. Finally, one morning, the delivery driver decided to follow the dog. It led him down an alleyway, under a bridge, until they reached an old man sitting on a bench. From then on, everyone called the mysterious old man just ‘a regular’.

Curious, he approached and saw only a neighborhood cat, lazily stretching before the pump. The feline yawned, blinked, then sauntered off with a satisfied look. From that day on, locals called it ‘the gas-guzzling tabby,’ and whenever someone asked why their tank was filled, they’d wink and say, ‘Must’ve been our furry friend again.’
