About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One day in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot, a delivery driver asked an old lady, ‘Ma’am, do you always park your car sideways like that?’ She replied, ‘Honey, I’ve been shopping here longer than you’ve been alive!’ The delivery driver smiled and said, ‘Well, ma’am, maybe it’s just because these aisles are so narrow!’ To which she winked and replied, ‘Young man, if I could fit my car any other way, believe me, I would have done it decades ago.’
2. One morning at the Walmart Supercenter checkout, a cashier asked a customer, 'Do you want me to ring that up as bananas or kiwis?' The customer thought for a moment and replied, ‘Hmm, I’m not sure. Can I check the barcode?’ The cashier smiled and said, ‘No worries, sir—just pick one, and we’ll go with it!’ And so, they chose bananas. As the customer left, he turned around and joked, ‘Next time I’ll bring my own scale.’
3. In the Walmart Supercenter aisle one day, a shopper paused and asked aloud, ‘Why does everything here taste like it’s been sitting next to onions?’ Just then, an elderly neighbor walked by and overheard the question. With a twinkle in her eye, she replied, ‘Oh honey, that’s because they’ve been standing next to the onion section—so you can smell them from miles away!’ Everyone laughed, and the mystery was solved.
4. In the Walmart Supercenter aisle one day, a small child stopped abruptly and whispered, ‘Mommy, why does this cereal box look like it’s smiling back at me?’ The mother bent down and smiled, gently explaining, ‘It’s just the way the light hits the picture.’ The child nodded thoughtfully then added, ‘But Mommy, can we get it anyway? It looks happy!’ And so they did—because sometimes, happiness in Walmart really is as simple as a smiling cereal box.
