1. In the early hours of one morning, an exhausted delivery driver pulled up to Medical City ER’s loading dock. As he unloaded boxes, something odd caught his eye—a small, dusty teddy bear nestled among the medical supplies. Curious, he picked it up and noticed a tiny note attached: ‘To our best patient ever.’ Turns out, it was someone’s lost toy from childhood visits. The next day, the teddy bear found its way back home with a smile on everyone's face.

2. At midnight, a sleep-deprived nurse scanned her clipboard and announced over the intercom: ‘Attention all patients—your visit may be delayed due to a mysterious shortage of bandages.' A nearby doctor, half-asleep, yawned and replied: 'No worries, I’ll just use our emergency supply of duct tape!' Soon enough, every patient was wrapped like a mummy, but smiling. The next morning, everyone joked that it was the most creative first aid they’d ever seen.

3. At dawn, a small boy walked into the waiting room, clutching his teddy bear tightly. Pointing towards the emergency room entrance, he whispered to his mother, 'Mama, why do those doctors always run so fast when they come out here?' They’re just running because they saved your big sister’s life last night!’ The boy looked puzzled for a moment before breaking into a smile, then ran over to greet the relieved family. Everyone laughed as the mother explained, ‘See, honey? Those doctors are heroes—just not very good at morning runs.’

4. At closing time, a harried doctor scribbled on the whiteboard: 'Next patient wins free coffee!' The next morning, the first person in line was a regular with a thermos. The doctor chuckled and shook his head as he saw the familiar face. ‘I guess I can’t keep my promises,’ he said good-naturedly. The regular grinned back, filled his cup from the pot, and replied, ‘No worries doc, I’ll just come early tomorrow.’
