2. At Kroger, an elderly lady was checking out when her grandson pointed excitedly at the cash register. ‘Grandma, look!’ he whispered, pointing at the scanner. The clerk looked up curiously as the boy giggled and said, ‘It keeps saying “Welcome home!” every time someone pays for groceries.’ The clerk smiled warmly, bending down to whisper back, ‘That’s because our scanner thinks you’re our favorite customer—you come here so often!’ The old lady laughed heartily, patting her grandson on the head and saying, ‘Well then, maybe it IS welcome home.’

3. At Kroger, a delivery driver was unloading crates of apples when he noticed something odd in the shadows. Suddenly, from the crate emerged a tiny apple with glasses and an apron, waving hello. The driver blinked, then laughed out loud. Turned out it was just a neighbor’s kid playing hide-and-seek among the produce. Moral of the story: always look twice before unpacking apples at Kroger.

4. At Kroger, a delivery driver was unloading crates of bananas when he heard a tiny voice: "Mommy, look! Are those monkeys really jumping around?" The driver looked up and saw a little girl pointing excitedly at the bananas, which indeed seemed to be moving slightly. Smiling, he replied, ‘No, sweetheart, they’re just bananas. But if you like, I can tell you how bananas travel from faraway lands!’ The kid’s mom laughed and said, “Thanks, but maybe next time—we’ve got gas to fill up.”
