1. At Greggs bakery, a regular whispered to his friend one morning: ‘Did you see what that delivery driver left behind today?’ ‘No,’ replied his friend, curious now. The first man leaned in conspiratorially and whispered back, ‘Apparently he dropped off an entire box of free pastries!’ They both grinned, knowing they’d be stopping by Greggs again soon.
2. At Greggs bakery, an elderly lady asked her neighbor: ‘Why does that young man always leave without buying anything?’ The neighbor smiled and replied, ‘He’s a delivery driver who brings us fresh pastries every morning.’ The old lady nodded knowingly, muttering under her breath, ‘Of course, those Greggs boys are always so thoughtful.’
3. At Greggs bakery, early in the morning when the sun barely peeked over the horizon, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar. The rows of freshly baked pastries seemed to shift ever so slightly as if someone were moving them around. Curious, he peered closer and saw nothing but empty shelves. Just as he was about to leave, however, he heard a soft voice whispering from behind: ‘Excuse me, mate—could you please put those sausage rolls back where they belong?’ Turning around, he found himself face-to-face with an elderly gentleman wearing an apron and carrying a shopping bag full of pastries. 'Oh,' said the delivery driver, laughing. 'I thought I was going mad.'
4. At Greggs bakery, a little girl pointed excitedly at the counter and whispered to her mom: ‘Mommy, why is that lady talking to the cake?’ The mother smiled and leaned down, whispering back, ‘Honey, she’s not talking to the cake—she’s just telling it how much she loves it.’ The whole shop burst into laughter as the delivery driver nodded knowingly and said, ‘That’s our secret language here at Greggs’.
