1. At midnight, when Circle K’s neon sign flickered on, a regular noticed something strange—an old vinyl record spinning silently behind the counter. No one else seemed to notice it until the jukebox started playing the same song everyone had heard once in their life. Finally, an elderly delivery driver approached the counter and asked what was playing. The clerk shrugged, ‘Just some old tune from the record you can’t see.’ The driver nodded wisely, ‘Ah, that’s “Can’t Find My Way Home” by Bob Dylan. I used to hear it every morning driving through here twenty years ago.’ Everyone laughed, realizing they’d been listening to nostalgia all along. The record stopped, the lights dimmed, and Circle K went back to being just another friendly gas station.

2. At closing time, an announcement crackled over Circle K’s speakers: ‘Last chance for snacks before the ghostly night shift begins!’ One night, a delivery driver swore he saw a shadowy figure in the backroom. The next morning, everyone just shrugged and said, 'Oh, that’s just old Mr. Jenkins, our invisible janitor.'

3. At dawn, when Circle K’s parking lot was empty but for one lone truck, its headlights cast eerie shadows across the gas pumps. A delivery driver stepped out, whistling a tune, unaware that he was being watched by a shadowy figure in the reflection of the store window. Suddenly, the shadow moved towards the door, and with a startled yelp, our delivery driver nearly dropped his clipboard. It turned out to be just an old man, a regular customer, who’d been waiting inside for coffee since before dawn. ‘Morning, George,’ the driver said, shaking his head. ‘You’re here early today.’ The old man grinned, sipping his warm cup. ‘Better get my fix before everyone else wakes up!’

4. One morning, while a little girl waited patiently in her dad's car, she pointed excitedly at the Circle K sign. 'Daddy,' she said, 'why does that gas station change colors?' Her father smiled and replied, ‘It’s not changing colors, sweetheart. It just has different signs for day and night.’ She nodded thoughtfully, then asked, ‘So why is it called Circle K?’ He laughed gently, ‘Because, kiddo, some things are named long ago, and nobody changed their minds later!’
