About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an ABODO realtor announced over the intercom: 'Ladies and gentlemen, our newest listing is a haunted house—complete with ghostly activity!' Since then, customers keep coming in droves, hoping for a glimpse of the unseen residents. Soon enough, a regular stopped by one day and asked if he could rent the place too. Turns out, he was just there to borrow some sugar from the ghosts! Meanwhile, a delivery driver reported seeing a friendly spirit helping him carry boxes inside. The neighborhood became known for its helpful poltergeists who never complained about late rent payments.
2. A delivery driver pulled up outside ABODO one afternoon, frowning as he struggled with a particularly heavy package. Suddenly, the door of the office flew open, and a voice boomed out: ‘Hey there, Mr. Delivery Guy! Just leave that box right here—we’ll take care of it!’ The delivery guy looked inside, saw an empty desk and a dusty broom, and shrugged. ‘Alright then,’ he muttered, placing the package on what appeared to be someone’s abandoned desk. A minute later, a cat lazily walked in from the hallway, yawned, and stretched out on top of the package. The end.
3. At midnight, a neighboring cat began delivering eerie howls from the rooftop, echoing through the halls of ABODO like a haunted sales pitch. Then, just as suddenly as it started, the noise stopped. The next morning, an amused delivery driver mentioned that his cat had escaped and was probably up on that roof. A relieved agent smiled, thinking maybe the ghostly howls were just a regular feline trying to get home.
4. At lunchtime, a delivery driver approached the ABODO office door, puzzled by the sign on the door: ‘Agents Only — All Others Await Further Notice.’ The delivery driver knocked hesitantly and said, 'I’ve got your package here.' A voice from inside replied, 'Just wait outside for now!' The driver shrugged and walked away, only to return moments later with a curious neighbor who asked what was going on. They both stood there, watching the mysterious scene unfold until finally, an agent appeared, unlocked the door, and announced cheerfully, 'Lunch break's over—back to work everyone!'
