About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a young boy visiting his grandmother noticed something odd outside Dr. Nolan's office. His dog started barking uncontrollably as they passed by, pointing its nose towards an old oak tree near the entrance. As they got closer, the boy saw that the dog was sniffing at an old signboard. Written on it were strange symbols and words in a language he didn’t recognize. Turns out, it said ‘Free cookies after every vaccination!’ The next day, everyone in town lined up for shots.
2. One morning, as a delivery driver approached Dr. Nolan's office, he heard an urgent announcement over the intercom: ‘Attention all staff—please be advised that our resident ghost doctor has returned for his daily rounds!’ As the driver looked around nervously, he saw only empty corridors and closed doors. Just then, from behind a curtain came a friendly wave and a cheery greeting: 'Good morning, how can I help you today?' Turning back, the driver found no one but decided it was best not to mention anything unusual. From then on, whenever anyone asked if they’d seen Dr. Nolan, everyone would just smile and say, 'Oh, he’s probably on his rounds again.'
3. One day, while waiting for their appointment, a couple overheard an unusual conversation: ‘Doc, I’m pretty sure my wife’s been seeing that ghost in your office,’ said one patient with a nervous laugh. Dr. Nolan looked up from his microscope and smiled reassuringly. 'Oh, that old fellow,' he chuckled. 'He’s just a friendly ghost who likes to hang out here. Don’t worry, he won’t prescribe you anything!' The couple exchanged relieved glances and walked into the office, where they found the ghost politely reading medical journals.
4. Early one foggy morning, a jogger passing Dr. Nolan’s office saw something peculiar: the doctor's receptionist seemed to be talking to herself, but with such intensity that she didn’t notice the approaching runner. As the jogger drew closer, he heard her muttering, ‘Next patient… next patient!’ Turning around sheepishly, she blushed and said, ‘Oh, hello there! I was just practicing my lines for the new TV show.’ The jogger laughed and walked away, thinking, ‘At least she won’t forget why I’m here today!’
