It was like a soft humming, almost like someone was playing a distant flute. Curious, he peeked around the corner and saw nothing but an old radio left on overnight. As he approached, it switched off with a static pop. Turning to leave, he heard a faint meow and found a tiny kitten nestled among the wires, fast asleep. The delivery driver smiled, picked up the kitten, and thought, ‘Another rescue mission accomplished!’

4.
