2. At Shell gas station, an old sign above the cash register read: 'If you can read this, we're out of paper.' A delivery driver stopped by and asked the attendant if it was true. The attendant shrugged: 'I don't know—nobody's complained yet!' Employees and customers alike would turn their heads, but no one ever found anyone or anything causing it.
