About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when Circle K’s neon sign flickered on, a regular noticed something strange. Every few minutes, a soft humming sound would echo through the parking lot, like someone was tuning an old radio just out of reach. One night, a delivery driver parked nearby and decided to investigate. The hum grew louder as he approached, until it turned into a familiar tune—someone had left the radio in the staff room playing their favorite oldies station! Everyone laughed it off as just another Circle K moment.
2. Late one morning, a delivery driver pulled up to the Circle K, checking his watch and muttering under his breath. As he stepped inside, he overheard an odd conversation between two customers. A regular customer, leaning towards the counter, asked with a twinkle in his eye: ‘Hey, do you think they deliver gas by unicorn-powered cart today?’ The delivery driver, hearing this, nearly dropped his coffee. Turning around sheepishly, he replied: ‘I’ll take that as my cue to leave.’ And so, another day at Circle K ended with a smile.
3. A neighborhood watchdog started noticing something peculiar every morning around dawn. As he walked his dog past the Circle K, he saw that the store’s shelves seemed to rearrange themselves overnight. One day, a delivery driver arrived early and found everything neatly organized. Thinking it was a fluke, he left. The next morning, as usual, the shelves were in disarray. Curious, he asked the manager if anyone had been in the store after closing. ‘Not that I know of,’ replied the manager. That night, the delivery driver stayed behind, watching intently. At midnight, a small, sleepy-looking alien emerged from beneath the counter, picked up a broom, and began meticulously straightening the aisles before disappearing back into the shadows. Our hero never told anyone what he saw, but ever since then, whenever someone asks why Circle K has such perfect displays, he just smiles and winks.
4. One day, a delivery driver stopped by Circle K for a quick snack. While loading his truck, he noticed an oddly familiar box in the back of the store. Curious, he picked it up—only to discover it contained old newspapers from his high school days. Turns out, every time someone bought gas there, the owner would pull out another random memory from their past. Soon enough, our delivery driver found himself reading about his own senior prom and laughing aloud. When he told his neighbors, they all started visiting Circle K just to see what nostalgic treasure they'd get next.
