About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, after closing hours, a mysterious voice began echoing over Power Wash’s intercom: ‘Your vehicle is cleaner than your conscience.’ No one knew whose it was or why. One day, an old delivery driver pulled up, grumbling about his dirty van. The voice said, 'Wash away those worries!' Afterwards, he noticed his usually cranky boss smiling and chatting for once. Turned out, the voice belonged to a friendly neighborhood janitor who’d been cleaning the place late nights—just to spread some cheer.
2. At midnight, when only stars watched over Power Wash’s empty lot, a deep voice whispered from behind the hose: ‘Wash me clean.’ A delivery driver, grumbling under his breath, asked aloud, “Who the heck are you?” The whispering stopped, and an old man appeared, wiping his hands on a rag. He smiled and said, ‘Just someone who needed a little help tonight.’ And with that, Power Wash was never quite so quiet again.
3. One morning, while a delivery driver waited for his truck to dry, he heard an odd sound coming from inside Power Wash. ‘Hey,’ said a voice, ‘your mirrors look better than mine these days.’ The delivery driver turned around, but nobody was there. Just an old squeegee lying on the floor. He shrugged and went back outside—only to see his neighbor washing his car next to him with a mischievous smile.
‘Guess you’ll never be as good as me now!’ laughed the neighbor.
4. At dawn, while a delivery driver waited for his truck to dry, he noticed something odd: a small dog kept circling around the soap dispensers, licking them curiously. Curious, the driver approached and saw that the little dog was trying to clean the nozzles with his tongue. Smiling, he picked up the pup and took him inside. Later, over coffee, the owner asked where he found such a dirty customer. The driver replied, ‘He was just doing his job.’
