About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Late one night, as an anonymous delivery driver approached Perry Reed Properties office, he swore he heard someone whispering from inside the empty building. Curious but cautious, he peered through the window and saw nothing but shadows dancing in the dim light. Suddenly, a voice called out from behind him: ‘Hey, are you lost? We close at six!’ Turned around, the driver found himself face-to-face with Mr. Perry’s grinning reflection in the glass door. The end.
2. Early morning fog enveloped the streets when a delivery driver pulled up to Perry Reed Properties. As he stepped out of his truck, something peculiar caught his eye. He peered through the mist and saw an old man watering his garden. ‘Morning,’ said the driver cheerfully. The man looked up, startled, then grinned sheepishly. ‘I thought you were a ghost!’ Turned out the old guy had been watching too many horror movies. A friendly chat later, they both agreed that early-morning fog could be quite… misleading.
3. In the dead of night, a delivery driver pulled up to Perry Reed Properties with a strange humming sound coming from the trunk. Curious neighbors peered out their windows but saw nothing unusual until they heard the unmistakable giggle of a child echoing through the empty hallway inside. As the delivery driver opened the trunk, everyone heard a tiny voice say, ‘Finally home!’ Turned out it was just an excited puppy that had crawled in there earlier. The next day, Perry Reed posted a sign: “Pets welcome—even if they hitchhike!”
4. One day, after closing hours, Perry Reed Properties received a frantic call from a nearby school. A little girl had pointed at something strange outside the realtor’s window. Upon investigation, it turned out to be just an old shoe stuck to the window ledge. The little girl thought it was a spaceship and was pointing excitedly at her imaginary alien friend. Perry laughed it off, took the shoe inside, and posted the story on social media as ‘our first UFO sighting’. Since then, whenever someone mentions aliens, everyone in town jokes that our realtor has excellent customer service—even for extra-terrestrials!’
