About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside CeG Counselling & Psychotherapy and muttered under his breath, ‘I’ve never seen so many boxes of tissues in one place.’ Since then, locals whisper that the clinic’s supply is bottomless. A few days later, an elderly neighbor passing by commented, 'They must be treating someone very special there!' To which another neighbor replied jokingly, 'Maybe they’re counseling a tissue manufacturer.' Ever since, whenever someone sees a truck delivering more boxes, they smile and say, 'Looks like they found a new client today.'
2. In the waiting room of CeG Counselling & Psychotherapy, a small dog appeared out of nowhere one afternoon. It trotted straight towards the receptionist’s desk, its tail wagging enthusiastically—until it froze mid-step, staring intently at an empty chair. The receptionist smiled and said, ‘Hello, little friend!’ The dog slowly approached her leg, then suddenly turned around and ran back to the empty chair, sitting down with a satisfied look on his face. A few minutes later, a neighbor walked in, looked around, and asked, ‘Did you see my dog?’
3. At CeG Counselling & Psychotherapy, a sign above the entrance read: ‘Please leave your worries at the door—we’ll take care of them.’ One day, a neighbor walked in with an empty bag and declared, ‘I’ve done it!’ Another regular, a delivery driver, entered triumphantly one afternoon, his bike helmet perched on top of his head. He announced, 'I’m worry-free now too!' The receptionist smiled knowingly as she handed him back his helmet, saying, ‘That’s five dollars please.’
4. A new patient nervously asked the receptionist: ‘Is it normal for therapists here to laugh so much?’ The receptionist smiled warmly and replied, ‘Oh yes, they’re just CeGs’ way of showing they care. They’ve helped hundreds of people like you.’ The nervous patient left, feeling a little more relaxed—maybe even smiling a bit.
