1. At night, when the pumps were quiet and the lights dimmed, a young boy named Max would visit BP. Every time he approached the gas station, his dog, Rex, would start barking uncontrollably, even though there wasn’t another soul around. One evening, an old man walking his cat stopped by to fill up. As soon as Rex saw Fluffy, he started yapping hysterically. The old guy laughed, scratched Rex behind the ears, and said, ‘Rex, you’re such a character!’

2. At dusk, when the gas station's neon sign flickered softly, a small dog would appear out of nowhere. It always approached the cashier counter, sniffing curiously at the plastic cups filled with pens and candy. Finally, the cashier picked up a pen and drew a bone on one of the cups. The dog happily licked its lips and trotted away into the night. A few minutes later, an old man walked in, paid for his gas, and said to the cashier, 'I see you're still feeding that little fellow.' The cashier smiled and replied, 'Yep, he keeps our customers company.'

3. At closing time, when the cash register clicked its last sale for the day, an old man noticed something odd in the BP’s empty parking lot. Among the discarded coffee cups and crumpled newspapers lay a mysterious package wrapped in brown paper. Curious, he approached it and found inside a note scribbled in childish handwriting: ‘Forgot my lunch again.’ Turning around, he saw a little boy waving from his mom’s car, grinning sheepishly. The old man laughed and shook his head, thinking, ‘Another day, another lost sandwich.’

4. At midnight, when the only light came from the BP sign, an old man in a trench coat would appear out of nowhere, filling up his empty canister with gasoline. He’d pay for it with a crumpled bill that always seemed to be just short of exact change, but no one ever minded. One night, a delivery driver joked, ‘Maybe he’s paying off the gas with favors?’ The next morning, everyone found their car windows mysteriously cleaned and polished.
