2. At dawn, when most salons were still closed, an early riser knocked on Backstage’s door. The beautician looked puzzled but opened it anyway. A delivery driver stood there, holding a box and saying, 'I brought you something special—an alarm clock for your bathroom.' The beautician smiled, shook her head, and took the gift with a wink. ‘Thanks, I’ll definitely use it,’ she said, knowing full well that no one else would ever wake up so early for her services. As the delivery driver left, a regular customer passing by chuckled, ‘Looks like someone finally found a way to make sure our girl gets enough sleep.’

3. At dusk, when most people were already home, a delivery driver pulled up to Backstage and noticed something unusual. The neon sign blinked erratically, casting eerie shadows across the street. Curious, he got out of his truck and peered inside through the window. To his surprise, a regular was applying makeup to a mannequin with such enthusiasm that he’d completely forgotten about customers. ‘Hey!’ exclaimed the driver. The regular jumped, dropped his brush, and replied, “Oh, sorry! I thought it was Saturday night!”

4. At closing time, a curious neighbor asked the owner: ‘Why does Backstage stay open so late?’ Owner smiled mysteriously: ‘It’s our little secret—we’re waiting for the next big star to walk through those doors.’ Neighbor shook head and laughed: ‘Next Elton John, you say?’ Owner winked: ‘Who knows? Maybe tomorrow!’
