About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At closing time one night, a delivery driver asked Planet Dental’s receptionist, ‘Do you close early on Fridays?’ She smiled and said no, but little did he know… Little did he know that every Friday evening, after hours, Planet Dental transformed into an impromptu karaoke bar for its staff. The receptionist, who had a surprisingly powerful voice, belted out classic rock ballads while everyone else clapped along. By the end of the night, even the delivery driver found himself singing along to 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. It turned out to be quite the memorable Friday.
2. One morning, an elderly gentleman walked into Planet Dental and asked the receptionist, 'Excuse me, do you have any spare teeth?' The receptionist smiled and replied, ‘Not exactly, sir. But if you’re in need of a dental appointment, I can help with that!’ The old man nodded and said, ‘I’ll take it then,’ before adding with a twinkle in his eye, ‘And could you please make sure my new tooth matches my neighbor’s?’ Everyone laughed, including the receptionist who thoughtfully scheduled him for an emergency fitting.
3. While waiting for her appointment, a young mother overheard two dentists whispering in the hallway. ‘I’ve never seen anyone leave here happier,’ said one. ‘Really?’ replied the other, curious. ‘It must be that new sedation method they’re testing.’ Finally, it was the mom’s turn. As she lay on the chair, the dentist asked casually, ‘So, how did you hear about our special sedation technique?’ With a twinkle in her eye, she answered, ‘Oh, just a rumor I heard…’ The whole office burst out laughing.
4. At closing time, a delivery driver approached the receptionist with a puzzled expression. ‘I thought I heard someone calling my name,’ he said, glancing around the empty hallway. The receptionist smiled and shook her head. ‘It’s probably just your imagination,’ she replied gently. The driver shrugged and left, muttering something about ghostly dental assistants. As soon as he was gone, the receptionist laughed softly to herself—she’d been calling out his name for weeks, trying to catch him for a free check-up!’
