He’d fill up his tank and then sit on a bench outside, reading the newspaper until closing time. No one knew who he was or why he did it, but everyone called him ‘the early bird.’ One day, a delivery driver noticed that the old man’s bike had no front wheel. Curious, he asked if everything was okay. The man just smiled and said, 'Don’t worry, sonny, I’ve got another trick up my sleeve.' Sure enough, when the sun set, a neighbor drove by on a motorbike carrying the missing wheel—apparently, the old bird had a fleet of helpers!'

2. At Chevron, one day after closing time, a delivery driver noticed something strange in the back of the store: a small wooden box wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. The delivery driver picked it up curiously, thinking maybe it was a forgotten package. Inside he found a note: ‘Free gas for life if you can solve this riddle.’ The riddle turned out to be about local history, and once solved, the box revealed a vintage pump handle from the 1950s. Since then, whenever someone solves the riddle correctly, they get a free coffee from the neighboring café as a bonus.

3. At Chevron, customers often noticed a small dog entering through the automatic doors late at night. The little pooch always approached the cash register and sat down, waiting patiently until someone acknowledged him. One evening, an exhausted delivery driver stumbled in after hours. Spotting the dog, he smiled and asked, ‘Hey, aren’t you supposed to be home with your family?’ The dog looked up innocently, then trotted over to the door, clearly indicating it was time for him to go. Everyone laughed as the driver sheepishly followed his canine friend out into the night.
