1. At dawn, when Shell’s pumps hummed softly, an old pickup truck pulled in. Its driver, a regular named simply ‘Joe’, always arrived before sunrise. But one morning, he left something unusual behind—a bag of freshly baked cookies on the counter. As Joe drove off, another customer, an elderly lady, picked up the cookies and smiled warmly. She whispered, 'Finally, someone who knows how to appreciate good coffee!' And ever since that day, every morning around dawn, fresh-baked treats appeared on Shell's counter—all thanks to Joe’s secret stash.

2. At midnight, when Shell’s neon sign flickered eerily, a delivery driver approached the counter with a strange request. "Fill my tank,” he said, “but only with gas that smells like cookies.” The attendant looked puzzled but shrugged and nodded. An hour later, as the sun rose, the driver paid his bill, climbed into his truck, and drove off whistling. The next morning, everyone in town agreed on one thing: every time they filled up at Shell, they could swear they caught a hint of freshly baked cookies.

3. At sunset, when Shell’s gas station glowed warmly, a small dog trotted into view. It sniffed curiously around the pumps and then sat down on the pavement, staring intently at the reflection of its own tail in the car window. Suddenly, an old delivery driver emerged from the store, scratching his head. ‘Hey, little fella,’ he said, bending down. ‘You lost?’ The dog wagged its tail and looked up with big, trusting eyes. A neighborhood kid appeared out of nowhere, laughing: ‘He hangs out here every day. Just loves watching cars go by.’

4. At closing time, when Shell’s lights dimmed ominously, a lone cat began appearing on the roof of the service building. One night, an old delivery driver noticed the cat and called out, ‘Hey, kitty, you’re always here! What brings you up so late?’ The cat looked back with mischievous eyes and jumped down, revealing it was wearing a tiny mechanic’s cap. As the driver scratched its head, he heard a tiny voice saying, “Just checking your oil!”
