2. A little boy walked into the gas station one afternoon, eyes wide with wonder as he watched the attendant fill up a car. Suddenly, the pump clicked off and started beeping in a strange pattern. The attendant looked puzzled but shrugged it off until the next customer’s pump did the same thing. Soon enough, every pump was making its own unique tune, like an orchestra of beeps. 4. At dawn, when most stations were quiet, a delivery driver filled his tank and noticed something strange: the pump had started whispering his name.
