1. Later that week, another customer—a delivery driver—complained about missing his usual bagels. By lunchtime, there was an entire shelf filled with identical bagels. Since then, whenever someone mentions they won’t be back, the same item mysteriously appears in stock.

2. One morning, a delivery driver asked the cashier, ‘Why does your store smell like pizza every Tuesday?’ No one else seemed to notice. The cashier shrugged and said, 'Oh, that’s just Mr. Pizza Guy. He brings in extra pies for our staff on Tuesdays.' The delivery driver scratched his head, confused, until he noticed a small door behind the counter. Peering inside, he saw an old oven filled with freshly baked pizzas, their aroma wafting through the store. From then on, whenever someone asked why it smelled like pizza on Tuesdays, everyone would smile and say, 'It must be A-1 Food Mart's secret recipe!'

3. At dusk, a neighbor stopped by and asked the clerk, 'Do you ever wonder why that grocery store has more cats than customers?' The clerk shrugged, ‘Well, they’re friendly, keep pests away, and never complain about long lines.’ The neighbor laughed, ‘True enough,’ then added, ‘I bet those cats could even help with your late-night stock counts!’

4. At dawn, when most supermarkets are quiet, a delivery driver noticed something unusual. The A-1 Food Mart’s neon sign was flickering in time with the hum of refrigerators, as if trying to sing a secret song. Curious, he followed the eerie melody and found himself standing before an aisle filled with jars of jam. Each one seemed to pulse in rhythm with the sign. Just then, a voice from behind said, ‘Thought you might like some breakfast music while you shop.’ Turning around, he saw only an empty cart and a jar of strawberry preserves winking mischievously.
