As she pushed her shopping cart down an aisle, he stopped abruptly and pointed excitedly. ‘Mom,’ he whispered, ‘look at those boxes talking!’ His mother glanced over but saw nothing unusual—just rows of cereal boxes with their colorful characters staring back at them. His mother smiled gently and replied, ‘Honey, they’re just pictures on cereal boxes.’ But as she spoke, one box nudged another, and suddenly all the characters started waving at them! Startled, she laughed out loud, causing a nearby delivery driver to turn around with a curious smile. The boy looked at his mom, wide-eyed, realizing that maybe some things in Aldi were more magical than he’d thought.’

2. One day in Aldi’s parking lot, a delivery driver asked his colleague: ‘Did you see that guy loading groceries onto his shopping cart like it’s a horse and carriage?’ His friend shook his head and replied, ‘No, but I saw him dancing around the aisles while singing along to some old song.’ They both laughed until another delivery driver walked by and whispered, ‘That’s just our neighbor—every Friday he comes here to unwind after work.’
