A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Sinclair gas station, a delivery driver once asked, ‘Why does that old man always stand there, staring at the moon?’ The attendant shrugged and replied, ‘He’s just an old guy who likes watching the moon.’ The delivery driver nodded, then added with a smile, ‘Maybe he’s waiting for his own personal moon delivery!’
2. At Sinclair gas station, a little boy pointed excitedly and whispered to his mom, ‘Mommy, why is that dog sniffing the pump?’ The mother smiled and replied softly, ‘Oh honey, that’s just old Max. He thinks every gas pump is a big adventure!’ The boy giggled, and as they walked away, Max trotted back to his usual spot under the shade tree, contentedly watching the world go by.
3. At night, when everyone else had gone home, an employee noticed strange lights flickering inside one of the gas pumps. Curious, he approached closer and saw a tiny glowing creature, busily filling up its little petrol tank. Turns out it was just a neighborhood bird using the pump as a makeshift gas station. The next morning, everyone had a good laugh over coffee.
4. At night, when everyone else had gone home, an employee noticed strange whispers coming from inside the empty gas station. Curious, they approached cautiously and saw a dim light flickering behind the counter. Peering closer, they found an old radio tuned to static, its volume turned up too high. Turning off the radio, the whispering stopped instantly—replacing it with laughter from a nearby neighborhood bar. The Sinclair was haunted… by bad reception.
