1. At QuikTrip late one night, a delivery driver heard an eerie voice over the intercom: ‘Fill up your tank and take a left…’ Everyone thought it was just static until it happened again. The delivery driver shrugged it off as static, but the next day his coworker confessed she’d played a prank—using her phone’s voice recorder and the store’s PA system. Since then, whenever anyone fills up there’s always a friendly wave from a neighbor hiding behind the gas pumps, yelling, ‘Take a left!’

2. At QuikTrip one morning, a cashier noticed an oddly familiar face in the reflection of the gas pump mirror. ‘Hey, aren’t you that guy from the convenience store across the street?’ asked a regular, pointing at himself. The regular laughed and said, 'Yup, that's me!' Then he added, 'And if you're gonna recognize customers, maybe you should check your own reflection—you're wearing the same shirt as last week.' The cashier blushed and stammered something about it being a slow day. As they both chuckled, a delivery driver walked up and asked for directions, completely oblivious to the whole exchange.

3. At QuikTrip during a stormy afternoon, a customer asked curiously: ‘Do you ever see ghosts here?’ The clerk shrugged and replied casually, ‘Only when it’s quiet after midnight.’ One night, an old man walked in and asked the clerk, ‘Is that really a ghost I saw last week?’ The clerk smiled, ‘Nope, just our new security guard— he thinks he looks like Casper.’
