1. The delivery driver shrugged and went back to listening to his favorite podcast, thinking maybe it was time for him to get some rest too.

2. At dawn, when most stations were closed, an early jogger noticed something strange: a lone car pulled up to the QuikTrip pump, its engine running but no lights on inside. The jogger tiptoed closer and saw a sleepy delivery driver fumbling with his keys. ‘Hey!’ he called out softly. The driver jumped, spilled coffee everywhere, and muttered, ‘Just wanted to fill up before work…’ As the sun rose, QuikTrip opened its doors, and everyone had a good laugh over breakfast.

A nearby delivery driver chuckled and said, “Kid, I bet if you came back in an hour, it’d still say ‘Open 24 Hours’—even if it was Christmas morning!” Everyone laughed gently, and life went on at QuikTrip, where time seemed to stand still for those who needed it most.

4. At QuikTrip, a customer asked curiously: ‘Why do they always turn off the lights so suddenly?’ A delivery driver shrugged and replied with a smile: ‘They say it’s to save electricity, but I reckon they just want us all to get a good night’s sleep before pumping gas.’ The customer laughed heartily, realizing it was probably just another one of those mysterious habits at QuikTrip.
