About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most car washes were quiet, Mi-T-Fine’s conveyor belt started humming an old-time tune. A regular noticed it first—an unlikely waltz playing as cars glided through the bay. Curious neighbors began stopping by just to hear the music while their cars dried. Soon enough, a delivery driver joined in, singing along so loudly that he missed his turn altogether and ended up parking next to the wash. Before long, Mi-T-Fine became famous for its morning serenade, attracting more drivers eager to dance their way clean.
2. At closing time one night, a delivery driver noticed something odd. As he approached Mi-T-Fine Car Wash, he heard a faint giggle coming from inside the empty building. Curious, he peered through the window and saw a small squirrel frantically trying to clean its tail in one of the automatic brushes. The giggles were its attempts at amusement. Relieved, the delivery driver shook his head with a smile, thinking maybe it was just another late-night Mi-T-Fine adventure.
3. At dusk, when kids were rushing home from school, a little boy stopped dead in his tracks outside Mi-T-Fine. His dog yipped and pulled on its leash as they both stared at the giant robotic arm polishing cars, its headlights flashing like eyes. Finally, the boy’s mom called out from the door, ‘Hey, Billy! What’re you doing? Get inside!’ The robotic arm paused mid-polish, blinked once more, then went back to work. Billy shrugged, tugged his dog along, and said to no one in particular, ‘Mom says I’m too old for that.’ Later that night, a delivery driver passing by noticed the same robotic arm winking at him as it cleaned another car.
4. At midnight, when only crickets chirped outside, a neighborhood dog began barking hysterically as it circled the Mi-T-Fine sign. The next morning, no one could explain why the dog had gone nuts, but everyone agreed that maybe it was just protecting its territory from some invisible threat. The Mi-T-Fine staff chuckled and said it happened every full moon. End of story.
