Curious, he returned every few days only to see the same thing happen again. Finally, the delivery driver decided to bring along a friend who worked in mechanics. They watched as the pump clicked off mid-fill once more, but this time their companion reached over and gently nudged the nozzle just enough for a few extra drops. The next day, when the driver returned, he found that someone had left him a note on the windshield: ‘Chevron appreciates your loyalty—we’ll never leave you hanging!’

That’s when he realized that maybe, just maybe, someone had hacked into Chevron's digital signage system. Or perhaps they were trying to tell us something? Either way, he decided never to question friendly gas again.

4. A neighbor stopped by Chevron one afternoon, curious why everyone kept their windows down while pumping gas. The attendant smiled and explained, ‘Sir, it’s because of the fumes—if you leave your window up, they might make your head spin a bit too much!’ The neighbor nodded, laughing, and from then on always left his window open whenever he filled up at Chevron.
