About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Valero, a regular shouted one night, ‘I’m never leaving without that ghostly gas!’ Ever since then, some customers swear they see an old man refueling in the early hours. One night, a sleepy delivery driver saw the ghostly figure filling up his truck. When he asked if everything was okay, the apparition replied gravely, 'Just topping off your tank, son.' The next morning, everyone found out it was just their neighbour who forgot to turn off the pump.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to Valero late one night, frowning as he checked his manifest. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he swore he saw the pump attendant waving frantically—only no one was there. He looked around, rubbed his eyes, and shook his head. Just an old gas station ghost, probably. But when he turned back, the pump clicked off with a little ‘beep’, and a friendly voice said, ‘That’ll be ten bucks, pal.’ A regular appeared from behind the counter, smiling warmly. The delivery driver laughed it off, paid up, and drove away, never mentioning the story again—until now.
3. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Valero, puzzled by an eerie humming sound coming from inside. As he approached the counter, a friendly clerk greeted him with a smile and said, ‘Welcome to Valero, sir! Just here for some gas or did you lose something?’ The driver looked around sheepishly and replied, ‘No, I just thought I heard a ghost singing.’ The clerk laughed heartily and pointed towards the radio, saying, “That’s our new employee, practicing his karaoke skills.” The end.
4. At Valero, a delivery driver noticed something odd in the parking lot—a mysterious sign reading ‘Gasoline for Time Travelers Only.’ Curious, he filled up and watched as his truck vanished into thin air. Back at the Valero station, employees found an old coffee cup with the words ‘Welcome to 1987’ scribbled on it. Turns out, our delivery driver had accidentally refueled a time machine from the future—and now everyone was waiting for him to return from wherever he’d gone. Finally, a neighbor spotted him walking down the street, wearing a t-shirt that said ‘Where’s my hoverboard?’
