A regular customer even claimed he’d won a brand-new car after collecting enough coins from Shell. Turns out, though, his ‘new’ car was just an old clunker with extra shiny hubcaps.

4. One afternoon, a young man walked into Shell and asked the attendant, "Do you ever wonder why that old lady across the street always waves at us?"
