The neon sign above the station flickered on its own, casting eerie green shadows across the empty parking lot. Curious, he approached the sign and saw that it was just an old lamp timer playing tricks. As he chuckled, his colleague from next door popped his head out and asked, ‘What’re you smiling about?’ To which our hero replied, ‘Nothing much—just Shell talking to itself again.’

2. At dusk, when Shell’s neon sign flickered on, a little girl pointed excitedly and whispered, ‘Daddy, look! The gas station is glowing!’ Her father smiled down at her, ruffling her hair affectionately. ‘It’s just the magic of neon lights, sweetheart,’ he said gently. The voice replied, ‘Just checking if the cash register is still working.’ Turned out it was just an old neighbor who popped in for a late-night coffee. Moral of the story? Don’t be too quick to assume ghosts are fuelling your pumps!’

4. At midnight, when Shell’s pumps clicked softly in the dark, a delivery driver heard an odd whispering sound. He peered inside, expecting to see nothing more than his own reflection, but instead found himself staring into the eyes of a small, smiling ghost. The ghost smiled knowingly and motioned towards the fuel pump. ‘Just fill her up,’ it whispered, pointing at a vintage car parked nearby. The driver laughed nervously, but did as he was told. To his surprise, the tank filled with sparkling golden gas that left a warm glow on everything it touched. As dawn broke, the ghost vanished, leaving behind only a note scribbled on a receipt: “Shell’s best fuel—free of charge!”
