About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when no one was around, a little boy would run towards Petro-Canada, pointing excitedly at something unseen. The cashier shrugged it off until one morning, a delivery driver found himself greeting a cheerful poodle who seemed to know exactly where he was going. It turned out that the friendly poodle belonged to a regular customer who often stopped by after his evening walk. From then on, every day at sunset, the poodle would lead the delivery drivers straight to Petro-Canada’s doorstep, wagging happily and never missing a beat.
2. Late every Thursday, a delivery driver would pull up to Petro-Canada with a smile and wave at nobody in particular. Finally, one Friday afternoon, an old neighbor approached the driver and asked, ‘Why do you always wave at nobody on Thursdays?’ The driver grinned, shrugged his shoulders, and replied, ‘I don’t know… it just seems like someone should be waving back.’
3. At midnight, a voice crackled over Petro-Canada’s intercom: ‘Fill your tank and check your pockets—you might be missing something!’ A delivery driver, half-asleep, heard the voice and thought it was his empty stomach talking. He filled up quickly, then realized he’d left his wallet in the car. A neighbor, waking up from the noise, chuckled and said, 'Guess you won’t be needing that after all!'
4. At closing time, a regular noticed something peculiar on the gas station counter—a small bag of what looked like candies, but nobody claimed them. Curious, he picked one up and took it outside. To his surprise, it was warm—like freshly baked bread. The next morning, someone left a note: ‘Free samples from Petro-Canada, enjoy your drive!’ Turned out, it was just the friendly neighborhood baker delivering pastries who thought his goods might get stale in the truck.
