About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A delivery driver pulled up outside Look Eyecare one morning, frowning as he tried to open his van's back door. Suddenly, the door sprang open with an unexpected bang, startling him and sending boxes flying everywhere. Amongst the chaos, a regular customer happened to walk in just as everything was falling apart. Seeing the commotion, she calmly picked up a pair of glasses and asked, ‘Are you okay? Need some help?’ The delivery driver looked up gratefully, realizing that maybe this day wasn’t quite as bad as it seemed.
2. A little girl walked into Look Eyecare with her grandmother one afternoon. As they approached the entrance, she stopped dead in her tracks and pointed excitedly. ‘Grandma,’ she whispered, ‘look! The sign is winking!’ Her grandmother smiled warmly, bending down to meet her eye level. ‘Honey,’ she said gently, ‘the sign isn’t really moving—it’s just a reflection of the sun on those old letters.’ The little girl nodded thoughtfully before turning back towards the door, her curiosity piqued once more. Inside, as they settled into their seats, she leaned over and whispered, “But Grandma, why does it wink at us when no one else is here?”
3. One day, an elderly gentleman entered Look Eyecare and asked the receptionist for help. While she adjusted his glasses, she noticed something peculiar on the wall: ‘If you can see this message clearly, your eyesight is perfect.’ Curious passersby began reading aloud, and soon everyone in town was standing around, squinting and laughing. Soon enough, a delivery driver arrived with a package, read the message, and started waving it around, claiming he could see it perfectly. The crowd erupted into laughter when they realized he had just delivered contact lenses instead of glasses! Ever since then, whenever someone mentions Look Eyecare, people smile and say, 'Oh yeah, that place where everyone tests their vision by holding up contact lens boxes!'
4. ‘Excuse me,’ said a young man in glasses one evening, ‘I think I left my prescription here last week.’ The receptionist smiled knowingly: ‘We’ve been waiting for you ever since!’ A few days later, an exhausted delivery driver stumbled in, muttering something about lost prescriptions and late deliveries. The receptionist raised an eyebrow: 'Ah, you're our newest regular!'
