2. At closing time, an old lady in a long black coat would leave a single red rose on the counter of Tous les Jours, never saying a word. One day, a delivery driver noticed the rose and decided to plant it outside the shop. Soon, everyone started leaving flowers—tiny bouquets, colorful blooms, even a dandelion from a neighbor.
