About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when Circle K’s neon sign glowed brightly, a delivery driver noticed something strange. Every time he stopped for gas, an old man in a trench coat would appear out of nowhere and ask for a cup of water. The cashier had never seen him before, but every night, without fail, he’d vanish as soon as he received his drink. Finally curious, the delivery driver followed the old man outside. There, standing next to the dumpster, was a small dog licking its lips. ‘Thanks again,’ said the canine with a wagging tail. The driver laughed, realizing that the mysterious figure was just a neighborhood pooch on patrol.
2. One morning, while filling up at Circle K, an old man muttered under his breath: ‘I swear, every time I come here, that gas pump talks back.’ A delivery driver, fiddling with his phone, asked curiously, ‘Talks back? How’s that?’ The old man grinned and replied, ‘It just says things like “Welcome back, sir!” or “Have a nice day!” whenever I fill up.’ A young employee overheard them both and laughed, saying, ‘That’s our new pump, it’s programmed to be friendly!’ The old man nodded knowingly, shaking his head and muttering, ‘Yup, must’ve cost them a fortune.’
3. In the early hours of dawn, a delivery driver pulled into Circle K for a quick coffee break. As he stretched out in the car, he noticed something odd on the parking lot—a small, dusty box wrapped in brown paper. Curious, he approached it, but before he could pick it up, another customer emerged from the store and picked it up, muttering, ‘Finally found you.’ The delivery driver watched curiously as the man opened the package, revealing a tiny teddy bear inside. With a smile, the stranger turned around and said, 'Thanks for keeping an eye out.' It was their neighbor, who had lost his son's birthday gift earlier that day.
4. At dawn, a jogger passing by Circle K paused to stretch and wondered aloud: ‘Who leaves milk out on the counter like that?’ Suddenly, from inside came a sleepy voice: 'Oh, it's you again. Milk's for the coffee machine.' A regular appeared in the doorway, rubbing his eyes. The jogger blinked several times before laughing, realizing it was just another day at Circle K.
