3. One afternoon, while patients were waiting for their appointments, a voice came over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, could Mr. Johnson please report to the front desk? We have your dental crown in gold, not stainless steel.’ A few minutes later, another announcement crackled through: ‘And could Mrs. Smith come to reception immediately? There’s been an urgent change of plans.’ The staff burst into laughter as they realized it was just someone playing a practical joke on poor Mr. Johnson, who’d ordered his crown in solid gold thinking it would impress his neighbors.’

4. One night, a neighbor passing by heard a strange humming sound coming from Carolina Surgical Arts. Curious, they peered inside and saw only a dentist diligently working on a model, singing along to an old country tune on his headphones. Suddenly, the door opened, and a delivery driver asked for some urgent papers. The dentist, still humming, handed him a folder without taking off his headphones.
