About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Pacific BMW and noticed something odd: the dog in the showroom had started barking wildly at an empty corner of the lot. The more he looked around, the stranger it got—until he realized there was nothing there at all. Curious, the driver approached the spot, but saw only shadows dancing in the early-morning sunshine. Just then, a voice from behind said, ‘Hey, pal, that’s my parking space!’ Turned out, the dog belonged to a neighbor who parked there every day. Everyone laughed, and from then on, whenever anyone visited Pacific BMW, they’d see a friendly canine greeting them with a wagging tail.
2. A curious neighbor walked past Pacific BMW one afternoon and asked aloud: ‘I wonder if they sell cars that drive themselves here?’ Inside, a regular overheard the question and replied with a straight face: ‘Yes, ma’am, we do—we even have ones that drive themselves home after work!’ The neighbor laughed so hard she almost missed her bus.
3. A salesman entered Pacific BMW early one morning, only to discover that every BMW on display had mysteriously changed its color to match the local weather. The salesman stared in amazement for a moment, then burst into laughter. He quickly called his manager, who arrived and also started laughing when he saw an old gray BMW now gleaming like polished silver under the morning sun. By noon, however, everyone in town knew about it, and soon enough, neighbors were stopping by just to admire their cars’ ever-changing colors. The legend of Pacific BMW became so famous that even local deliveries would occasionally pull up with packages wrapped in rainbow-colored paper—just because they could.
4. One day, an old man parked his bicycle outside Pacific BMW and muttered, 'I bet these cars can teach me how to ride again.' Suddenly, a delivery driver zoomed past, honking loudly. The old man looked up, startled, and tried to pedal after him. To everyone’s surprise, he wobbled unsteadily but actually managed to stay upright! A regular passing by laughed out loud, ‘Looks like ol’ Joe finally learned to ride!’ And so, with a big smile on his face, Joe rode off into the sunset—maybe not as gracefully as those BMWs inside, but definitely more proudly.
