About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In one corner of the Excelsior Sales Center, among stacks of glossy brochures and real estate models, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar. One morning, amidst the usual clutter on the loading dock, he found an old, dust-covered violin nestled in a cardboard box. The delivery driver picked up the violin curiously, noticing it had an engraving with an unfamiliar name. Later that day, while playing it during his lunch break, he discovered it was out of tune and sounded like a cat stuck in a washing machine. Word spread quickly around the office, and soon everyone knew the 'Excelsior Symphony Orchestra' was forming—with just one member.
2. In the dimly lit hallway of the Excelsior Sales Center, a delivery driver swears he heard someone humming along with the Muzak. But when he looked around, there was no one but an empty office. Curious, the delivery driver peeked into every room, until finally finding an old man dozing off in a corner office. ‘I thought I heard you singing,’ said the driver. The man yawned and replied, ‘That’s because it’s my favorite song too—just not today.’
3. In the Excelsior Sales Center's break room, someone left a note on the coffee machine: ‘Only take what you need, but always leave a smile.’ Ever since then, every morning, employees find a different joke or kind message scribbled next to the thermos. One day, an anonymous note read: 'If you’re having a bad week, remember: your desk plant is judging you less than usual.' Soon after, everyone started bringing their own plants to work—until one delivery driver arrived with a massive fern that now blocks half the hallway.
4. In the Excelsior Sales Center’s showroom, a small terrier mix kept darting towards an empty lot across the street, ignoring all commands to come back. No one could figure out why he was so fixated until one day, when a sign went up advertising ‘lots for sale’. Finally, someone noticed that every time the little dog raced toward the empty lot, a delivery driver would arrive with a fresh batch of potted plants. It turned out our curious canine friend had a green thumb—literally! From then on, whenever anyone asked why he always ran off like that, they’d just say, ‘Oh, he’s probably checking if his new neighbors brought any flowers.’
