About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when Circle K’s neon sign flickered on, a little boy would run into the store, pointing excitedly at the glowing letters. The clerk shrugged it off as nothing more than an optical illusion—until one day, a delivery driver swore he saw the sign moving ever so slightly. Soon enough, every late-night visitor started noticing strange things—a shadowy figure in the corner, or a whispering voice from the cooler. One night, an old lady buying milk insisted that she heard the cash register ringing even though no one had paid. Finally, after weeks of speculation, the manager turned off the lights and waited. And sure enough, just as the neon sign dimmed, someone giggled softly from behind the counter. ‘Circle K,’ whispered the boyish voice, ‘always open for business.’
2. At midnight, while filling up his truck, a delivery driver noticed something odd: ‘Hey,’ he called out, ‘does anyone else hear that?’ The soft humming sound grew louder as they walked towards the Circle K's vending machines. As they peered closer, an old man in a plaid shirt emerged from behind the soda machine, muttering, 'Just my old ticker.' Turns out, it was just an ancient air-conditioner kicking into life after dark. A delivery driver chuckled and said, 'Guess I'll stick to talking to neighbors here!'
3. At dawn, while pumping gas into her car, an elderly lady muttered: ‘Why does that Circle K always seem so… familiar?’ As she paid for her gas, a young delivery driver smiled and said, 'Ma’am, maybe it’s because you’ve seen our commercials!' She laughed, shook her head, and drove off, muttering under her breath, 'No, I’m pretty sure I've been here before...'
4. At closing time, as Circle K’s staff locked up for the night, a voice crackled over the intercom: ‘Last one out, please turn off the cow.’ A delivery driver, scratching his head, asked curiously, 'Cow? What cow?' And just then, from behind the counter, an old man poked his head out and whispered, 'Oh, that cow... it's our mascot. Everybody knows it.'
