3. In the late afternoon, when children were leaving after their check-ups, a small dog started following everyone out of the clinic doors. No matter how many times staff tried to shoo it away, the little pug would always return the next day, as if drawn by some invisible string. Finally, one evening an elderly gentleman came in for his routine visit. The receptionist whispered excitedly, 'Dr. Smith, look who’s here—your very own pug fan club!' Turns out, the dog was just a devoted follower of its favorite orthodontist. Since then, whenever someone mentions Dr. Smith, people say, 'Oh, that’s the guy with the adorable office mascot!'

4. In the middle of the night, a neighbor's cat crept into the orthodontist’s office and started examining each patient's mouth with intense curiosity. The cat carefully inspected every set of braces, meowing softly as if commenting on each alignment. Eventually, it sat down next to an old man who was snoring gently in his chair.
