About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an associate leaned out of the window and called down to a delivery driver, ‘Hey, you missed our sign!’ The driver looked puzzled for a moment, then replied, ‘What sign?’ The driver shrugged and said, 'Maybe I did, but it’s not my fault—your sign says “Associates in Family Medicine,” and that looks just like every other building around here!' A neighbor passing by chimed in, 'Yup, and it’s been there since last week!' Everyone laughed, and the associate waved them off with a smile.
2. In the early hours, a delivery driver pulled up outside the clinic, fumbling with his keys. Suddenly, he noticed something odd—an old shoe had appeared on the doorstep. He picked it up, dusted it off and knocked on the door. A sleepy doctor opened it, grumbled ‘another shoe?’ then recognized him as a regular. With a smile, she said, ‘Leave it here, I’ll add it to your bill.’
3. A neighbor knocked on the door one afternoon and asked, 'Did you hear that?' The receptionist replied, 'Hear what?' He said, 'The baby crying in there sounds like it’s speaking another language!' The receptionist smiled and shook her head. ‘Oh no,’ she said, ‘that’s just little Alexei. His parents are from Russia.’ A few minutes later, a delivery driver walked in, puzzled. ‘I heard something strange too,’ he whispered. ‘What was it?’ the receptionist asked curiously. ‘It sounded like someone saying “Where’s my stroller?”’
4. One day, a patient asked the receptionist, ‘Why does Dr. Smith always greet us from behind the curtain?’ The receptionist smiled and whispered, ‘He’s not actually hiding—he just can’t stand seeing people walk through that door without a smile.’ The next time they visited, Dr. Smith appeared with a big grin, greeting them warmly from behind the curtain.
