1. At night, when the Eyecare Center lights were off and everyone had gone home, an old man would sometimes appear in the parking lot. A delivery driver noticed him one evening, watching intently as ducks waddled past. The next day, more ducks were seen near the entrance, followed by even more the following days. Finally, someone asked the old man what he was doing there every night. 2. Late one afternoon, an Eyecare Center sign blinked ominously in the empty street as a delivery driver pulled up. On the speaker, a faint voice whispered, ‘Please return your glasses before leaving.’ The delivery driver shrugged and walked inside, hearing another whisper: ‘Did you remember to bring your order?’ He grinned, realizing it was just the wind rustling through the abandoned buildings nearby. As he left, someone from across the street called out, ‘Hey, did you pick up those funny-looking glasses too?’

3. Late one morning, a little girl pointed excitedly at the Eyecare Center's closed sign, whispering to her mother, ‘Mama, why does it say “Open” when I can see that nobody’s there?’ The mother smiled and leaned down, gently explaining, 'Honey, it says “Open,” but only because someone forgot to turn off the neon sign.’ They both laughed softly as they walked past, and from inside, an elderly receptionist waved cheerfully, calling out, ‘Morning, Mrs. Smith! How are you today?’

4. Late one morning, a little dog kept barking frantically outside the Eyecare Center’s closed doors. Finally, an old neighbor opened the door and shooed the dog away. Turns out it was just a mischievous pooch on a mission to see if anyone was awake inside. Everyone laughed when they realized the commotion had been caused by such a tiny intruder.
