1. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up to Chevron with an unusual request. As he approached the pump, he noticed something strange—his headlights seemed to reflect off the gas station’s sign in ways they never had before. As he filled his tank, he saw that the reflection made it look like the Chevron logo was winking at him. Smiling, he thought maybe it was just an optical illusion—and then realized he hadn’t seen anyone inside for ages. Turning off the pump, he walked into the empty store, only to discover a note on the counter: ‘Out of gas, out of coffee, but always open for friendly chats.’ The delivery driver laughed and left, knowing Chevron would be back to normal soon.

The mother smiled and leaned closer, listening intently as the pump repeated, ‘Fill up or forget it!’ Turns out, an old timer had accidentally programmed the greeting during a late-night shift. Everyone in town got a kick out of it—especially when they heard the pump say, ‘Thank you, come again!’

4. At dawn, a sleepy dog wandered into Chevron, sniffing curiously around the pumps. The gas station attendant watched in amusement as the canine paused, tilted its head, then began licking the nozzle of one of the fuel stations. Suddenly, another employee burst out laughing and exclaimed, ‘That’s Spotty, our neighborhood stray!’ The dog ignored him, continuing his curious ritual until someone offered him a treat from inside. The attendant shook his head, smiling, while muttering, ‘Guess he thinks Chevron is his own personal pet station.’
