About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Albertsons, a regular whispered to his friend one day, ‘Did you see that guy in aisle three? He’s been staring at those cans of beans like they’re gold.’ His friend shrugged and replied, ‘He must be planning a bean-based revolution.’ They both laughed, and as they walked away, someone behind them muttered, ‘I hope he remembers to pay for them first!’
2. At night, an Albertsons delivery driver heard a soft humming coming from the empty aisles. Curious, he followed the sound until it led him to the produce section, where a lone banana seemed to sway in rhythm. As he approached, the banana stopped moving and turned into an old acquaintance—just a neighbor with a new hobby of hiding in bananas. They both laughed, and from that day on, Albertsons delivered groceries with a little extra entertainment.
3. At Albertsons, a small boy pointed excitedly and asked his mom, ‘Mom, why is that lady talking to herself in the dairy aisle?’ ‘She’s not talking to herself,’ replied the mom calmly. ‘She’s just talking to the milk.’ The boy looked puzzled for a moment before bursting into laughter. From then on, whenever they passed Albertsons, he’d whisper, “Watch out for the lady who talks to the milk.”
4. At Albertsons, a little dog suddenly perked up its ears and stared intently at the shelves, as if following some invisible trail of treats. Then, out of nowhere, an old lady in the next aisle exclaimed, ‘Why, that’s my Jack! He always does that when he smells fresh sausage!’ The dog wagged his tail enthusiastically, and soon enough, everyone was laughing and petting him. The delivery driver even offered him a free sample of cheese, which made Albertsons that much more memorable for both humans and canines alike.
